Winter Color Season Palette Makeup

The Winter Color Season is defined by being Cool, Bright and Dark.

That means that Winters will look best in cooler colors (think blues, purples, and cool pinks), brighter colors and dark colors (so dark blues over light blues).

Within the Winter Palette you can be a Cool Winter if the cool element is most important (so you can tolerate a bit of softness and a bit of light color so long as it’s cool).

You can be Bright Winter if the bright element is most important (so you can tolerate a bit of warmth, a bit of light color so long as they remain bright.)

Finally, you can be Dark Winter if the dark element is most important (so you can tolerate a bit of warm colors and a bit of soft colors so long as they are dark!)

Now that we have that covered, let’s see how that translates to MAKEUP.

Winter Palette Makeup Looks

Winter girlies benefit from a little sparkle and brightness in their look. Bold reds, pinks, shimmer and black eyeliner harmonize with the beauty of Winters.

Dramatic looks can include vivid blue-reds and hot pinks lips. Cheeks can range from cool pink to deeper berry.

Lips

Lip colors in general will be vivid blue-red, rosey nudes and berries.

Eyes

Eyes are soft, with natural beige/ taupes and charcoal. Again, less is more with Summer eyes. Pinks, brows and camels can also be very nice.

Cheeks

Cool and light pinks work well. For more neutral palettes (Soft and Light Summer), slightly warmer blushes can work.
